Winter Weather Advisory
In addition to the Windchill Warning issued earlier today, a Winter Weather advisory has been issued for the Wichita Metro.
A Winder Weather Advisory is now in effect until 6pm, Thursday, December 22. Slick roads could be a real issue this afternoon and into the evening. Freezing drizzle is currently falling and snow is forecast, a glaze of ice is expected. Additional snow accumulations of up to one inch. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. Plan on slippery road conditions. Blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Freezing drizzle will be the main concern before midnight. Snow and blowing snow will be the main concern after midnight.
