The chefs at Prost have come up with yet another winner, winner, special sandwich dinner!

Called “Der Anton” it’s a FANTASTIC sandwich featuring pork belly, built on a hoagie bun topped with mayo, arugula, a homemade rhubarb chutney and a spicy chili sauce.  Served with Prost’s OUTSTANDING fries and a pasta salad, this meal totally shoots past the high mark on the satisfaction meter.

Inspiration leads to creation

What makes this sandwich extra special is that it was inspired by the late celebrity chef Anthony Bordain and his love for pork belly.  What Prost has done here in honoring him has resulted in the creation of a sandwich Masterpiece!  The pork belly – the most deliciously tempting pork-related item known to man, as Bordain might say – was prepared perfectly, and that spicy chili sauce combined with that rhubarb chutney just puts this sandwich over the top!  Those ingredients alone put on a piece of cardboard would taste great!  Balancing out the spicy/sweet notes is that cooling pasta salad and did I mention how OUTSTANDING Prost fries are?

Mmmmmm, pork belly… and that sauce!  It’s another dose of YUM!

The Prost kitchen continues to raise the bar in pairing GREAT flavors together!  The “Der Anton” needs to be made a permanent menu item and that spicy chili sauce/rhubard chutney deserves to be bottled that’s how good it is!   This sandwich special gets 5 out of 5 stars, it’s another dose of YUM and a MUST try!
