You could bake your own pie to celebrate and many will, but what if you’re not into baking?
A number of eateries in the Wichita Metro have Apple pie treats on the menu, doing a tribute to Apple Pie Daily! Here’s where you can celebrate National Apple Pie Day.
Delanos Diner, located at 1220 W Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS 67203. You can start your day with Apple Pie Hotcakes! Four light and fluffy sweet cream pancakes with apple pie flare!
Bagatelle Bakery, located at 6801 E Harry St #2908, Wichita, KS 67207. A quaint little bakery and cafe serving sandwiches, desserts, and Middle Eastern-inspired delights, you can enjoy your apple pie by dining in or taking your very own pie home with a pickup order.
Arbuckle Mountain Fried Pies, located at 8520 W 13th St N, Wichita, KS 67212. Mouthwatering fried pies is an understatement. If you haven’t sampled one of their hand pies yet, it’s a MUST-do.
Fat Ernies Family Dining, located at 2806 S Hydraulic Ave, Wichita, KS 67216. This down-to-earth, Wichita icon diner has an extensive menu (they make a great chicken fried steak) and specializes in heavenly, homemade pies. There’s a reason the parking lot is always full.
Riverside Cafe, with three locations in the Wichita Metro and serving breakfast all day, Riverside has been satisfying customers since 1946. Order by the slice, or order a whole pie to take home.
