Best packaged sliced roast beef out there

Lunchmeat is one of my go-to snacks, I’ve always got some on hand in my fridge. I like lunchmeat because it’s an easy grab, it’s packed with protein and most importantly, it’s darn tasty! Add a little dollop of mustard and the taste buds are quite happy, no bread required!

Open up the door of my fridge on a given day you might see sliced smoked turkey, roast beef, or black forest ham.  Not only is lunchmeat satisfying by itself direct out of the package, but it lends itself so well to combining with a variety of mustards, crackers, cheeses, breads and more.

So with that in mind, today I’m reviewing Member’s Mark Seasoned Angus Roast Beef.

Lean and delicious!

In my humble opinion, this is THE best deli sliced roast beef out there.  It’s trimmed, it’s lean, there are no artificial flavors or colors and most importantly it’s delicious.  Not only does it lend itself to being a great snack, it’s quite versatile too.  It’s great between a couple slices of bread, it elevates a charcuterie board and this stuff is so tasty I often use it as a cheat in recipes calling for traditional roast beef.  I’ve put it in home made pot pies, I’ve been known to throw it in a pan with some onion for Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches and my latest favorite is to use it with puff pastry to create a faux Beef Wellington.  Yes, I’ve been watching too much Hell’s Kitchen.

Costing me $10.98 for a 1.5 pound package, I’m giving Member’s Mark Seasoned Angus Roast Beef 5 out of 5 Bachelor on the Cheap stars.  It’s reasonably priced but more importantly it flat out tastes better than name brand sliced roast beef such as Hillshire Farm or Hormel.

$pend Wisely My Friends…
