Limited Edition

I grew up on Cheerios as a kid. There was a base cabinet in the corner of Mom’s Kitchen with a huge “Lazy Susan” in it and that’s where the cereal was kept. Turn that Lazy Susan to get to the three or four boxes of cereal on that round bottom shelf and there it was, Cheerios was a staple.
As an adult, I still love cereal, so I was ecstatic to get a box of Limited Edition Strawberry Banana Cheerios recently. Side Note: Back in the day, you had to slice up a banana or some strawberries – never thought to do the combo as a kid – to get these flavors, but here ‘ya go right from the box – with heart shapes even!
The flavors are great and not overly sweet. The glazed oats hold up well in the milk. Bonus, I don’t know about you but I’m a drink the milk in the bottom of the bowl after all the cereal is gone person, and the strawberry banana flavored milk is delicious!

Costing about $4 for a family size box (19 ounces), I’m giving the Limited Edition Strawberry Banana Cheerios 5 out of 5 Bachelor on the Cheap stars. Reasonably priced, especially for a limited edition, this is a tasty cereal treat and a repeat buy while supplies last!
