If the cheese was slightly melted, it would be pretty close to the promo pic

Arby’s has brought back its Chicken Cheddar Ranch Sandwich for a limited time and seeing it on the drive thru menu board while out-and-about running some errands yesterday, I jumped on it going for a combo meal. It’s a fan favorite and I’m one of those fans!
Here’s the description from the Arby’s website: Fried chicken tenders with cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, and parmesan peppercorn ranch sauce on a toasted sesame seed bun.
The wonderful marriage of flavors in this sandwich is why I’m such a fan. The chicken tenders, fried to perfection were super crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. That crispy breading is complimented nicely by the cheddar cheese and you get the freshness from the crisp lettuce and juicy red tomato. But what puts this sandwich over the top is that Parmesan peppercorn sauce, delivering a creamy, zesty, tangy flavor making this sandwich truly mouthwatering. It’s a fantastic combination of flavors and textures all wrapped up in that soft sesame seed bun.
Great marriage of flavors, but sloppy sandwich prep
Costing me $8.48 for the combo meal to include curly fries – LOVE the curly fries! – and a drink, I’m giving the Arby’s Chicken Cheddar Ranch 4 out of 5 Bachelor on the Cheap stars. This would have been a 5 star sandwich had the Cheddar cheese been slightly melted and tomatoes along with the chicken tenders not been placed off center in sloppy sandwich prep. If I hadn’t have made the adjustment, there would have been a couple bites without both and I didn’t order a bread sandwich. Despite the sloppy sandwich prep, this sandwich is most definitely a repeat buy! Like I said, I’m a fan, this wasn’t my first Chicken Cheddar Ranch Sandwich.
Arby’s has also made the Chicken Cheddar Ranch Sandwich part of their revamped 2 For $6 Everyday Value menu. Enjoy any two of the following select menu items for 6 bucks:
- Chicken Cheddar Ranch Sandwich
- Classic Roast Beef
- White Cheddar Mac ‘N Cheese
