Another round of excessive rainfall is possible through the late morning hours which may result in flooding.
Portions of Central and South Central Kansas are affected including the following counties in South Central Kansas, Butler, Harvey and Sedgwick.
The watch is in effect through this evening.
Excessive runoff from rain may result in the flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.
Heavy rain fell across portions of central and south central Kansas overnight and another round of heavy rain may develop today before diminishing toward evening.
