I’m a sucker for good fried rice and per a recommendation, I stopped in a small, tucked away from the main street joint called yes, literally, “Fried Rice.”
Located at 2419 S. Glendale, just east of the intersection of Pawnee and Oliver, this place makes great chicken fried rice, outstanding egg rolls and the price is only $4.50 to include a drink! It’s a classic carry-out order kind of place, cranking out some great eats.
Per that recommendation, I got their “Daily Special” which is a generous helping of chicken or pork fried rice, two egg rolls and a drink for $4.50. Beef or shrimp fried rice goes for $5 and replacing the egg rolls with crab rangoon will cost you another $1.
This place will now be my go-to when I’m in the mood for Chinese.
At just $4.50, you can’t beat that price. Look at all that food for such a low price and it’s TASTY, TASTY, TASTY! Fried Rice gets 4 out of 5 Bachelor on the Cheap stars, so if you haven’t already done so, it’s definitely worth checking out.
